Chairman’s Letter
Dear friends and partners,
2023 was a year of reflection and growth for us. Throughout the year, we made a deliberate choice to prioritize internal development, delving into our collective journey over the past three years.
During our formative years, we embraced a 'sandbox' approach, collaborating with partners across various issues and scales. From these experiences, we've learned a fundamental truth: lasting success is rooted in cultivating enduring relationships. We've discovered that the most
impactful outcomes emerge from collaborative efforts and co-creation with trusted partners, often those closest to the challenges at hand.
Recognizing that authentic transformation thrives on strong relationships and collaboration, we're now shifting our focus to empowering individuals with innovative ideas within their communities. Our goal is to provide them with the tools and support needed to enact tangible change. I am thrilled to unveil our new 5-year strategy in this annual report, alongside our
refreshed vision and mission. To facilitate this new phase of growth, ECCA Family Foundation has taken its first steps as a standalone entity whilst North-East Family Office will continue to support the Foundation on critical functions such as finance, IT, and investment advisory. This transition underscores our unwavering commitment to aligning our philanthropic goals more closely with our aspirations.
As a learning organization, I take pride in witnessing our genuine dedication to adaptation, learning, and evolution.
Although we did not welcome any new partnerships this year, our existing partners continued to work tirelessly, delivering outstanding impact in their respective areas of focus. Their efforts have enabled lives to flourish, as you'll discover in the stories shared within this report.
I can’t wait to see the new partnerships we will embark on next year as our 5-year strategy unfolds.
